Breaking Paradigms And Setting Records
We carefully plan our race maps to be motivating from start to finish. Expect music around the entire run to keep you going. In addition, we are the first race ever to count down, rather than up. How does this work? We set a timer for 60 minutes, that counts down. This timer will be placed throughout the race map for each runner to see multiple time as the are racing. Racers start times are dictated by their goal PR time. For instance, if a racer wants to finish Rubicon in 30 minutes, they will start the race with 30 minutes left on the countdown clock. By reversing the psychology of racing, runners are actively trying to finish before the time runs out, thus allowing them to break PR’s.

The First Race Where The Clock Counts Down, Not Up.
Race The Clock - Crush PR's
Rubicon is the first race where when the race begins, the clock counts down! Runners will choose their start time based upon when they want to finish the race. For instance, if they want to finish the race in 30 minutes, they will start the race with 30 minutes left on the clock.
There will be additional timers spread throughout the race to show the runner how much time is remaining to finish the race. This way, our racers will push themselves even hard to set new PR’s.
